I recently decided to take down all the scripts that I began producing in 1998 or 1999. I have not updated them since 2000 or 2001 and they could therefore use re-work or be rewritten entirely. Because a whole slew of Counter, Guestbook, and News Management / Blog scripts are available and I will be working in a full-time Software Development position beginning June 4, I don’t feel that the effort required to maintain these is worth the benefit of keeping them.

Summer 2013

I’m currently working on revamping my website and am considering putting these old scripts up on GitHub. Since I built these scripts originally, the need and/or popularity of these category of apps has diminished, but for the sake of nostalgia, I think it could be fun to post them. (Plus, there are several instances of some of these still running out there on the web – try a search for “wsu guestbook”.) If you’re interested, contact me, and that will give me additional motivation to follow through with it.
