Be it enacted a FEDERAL law to ban advertisements for alcoholic beverages on any medium of electronic communication governed by the Federal Communications Commission as well as on all billboards in the nation.
HB #207 will change the current advertising policy that bans persons from advertising alcoholic beverages to audiences primarily consisting of persons under the age of twenty-one (21). This law will be put into effect on May 1, 2003. Those entities currently advertising alcoholic beverages on one or more mediums of electronic communication and/or billboards must remove all current advertisements by 12:00 AM on January 1, 2004.
