Graduation Practice

I had to get up at 6:50 this moring to attend the 7:15 Senior breakfast/graduation practice. I hung out with Stan and his cousin afterward for a while, ate lunch at Happy House (a hot dog place here in town) where I learned that Chicagoans aren’t supposed to put ketchup on their hot dogs. I can’t see why – I myself don’t like ketchup, but my parents have always put it on their hot dogs. Stan was teasing his cousin about getting ketchup….it doesn’t make sense to me. I guess it’s like the whole pop/soda/coke deal. Although that one is more clear cut. It IS and always will be pop. In the afternoon, I went to my friend Sarah’s house for her graduation party and hung out there for a few hours. Then, this evening I went back over to Stan‘s and hung out with his family and a few other friends. Pretty packed day, if you ask me…I’m about ready to get some sleep.

My Commencement ceremonies are tomorrow at 2pm, but I’ve got to arrive at 12:30, a whole hour and a half ahead of time. Hopefully I can find one of my friends to talk to so the time doesn’t pass so slowly.
