Well I’m off to SEMP tomorrow and I’ll be gone until July 22. Last year, SEMP was really great so I’m expecting it to be great again. If you don’t know what SEMP is, it stands for Students Equipped to Minister to Peers. Basically, it’s a conference for Christian teens where they can go and learn about witnessing to their friends (sharing their faith with their friends) and write letters to unsaved friends and have good worship and all. It’ really great!!!!!!
Could you all pray for me while I’m there? Just pray that I’ll learn a lot and grow closer to God and know what to say to the people I witness to (we go out on the streets and witness to people) and all that.

I got back from Florida Tuesday afternoon, but I haven’t really felt like posting anything on here lately. I had a great time in Florida – the weather was really hot and humid and I didn’t get in the top 10 in my event, but I had lots of time to have fun at Disneyworld. We stayed at the Swan right at Disney world and were able to go to parks three of the five days we were there. MGM was probably my favorite, since it had the Rockin RollerCoaster and the Tower of Terror, but Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom were cool too, but I really didn’t like Epcot – the rides were more for little kids.

Well, yesterday was the 4th, but I didn’t really do anything cool – I just went to some fireworks last night.

If you’ve been here before, you may have read how I won second place in the Illinois FBLA Computer Concepts competition and I get to go on to nationals, which are held at Disney World (Florida) this year. I leave very early tomorrow. I’m really looking forward to this – I’ve never been to Florida so this is gonna be a really great trip. (Hopefully the competition goes well too!!!!!)

Well, yesterday was my parents’ 20th wedding aniversary. My dad said this time of year is the worst time to get married because you’re either just getting back from vacation or getting ready to go on vacation. Either way, he said, you don’t have time to really celebrate. Well anyway, they went to Denny’s last night and sent us over to McDonalds. (I don’t really know why they even had us come along, but oh well, we got ice cream so that’s all good!) Well its really great that they’ve followed God closely and haven’t gotten divorced. Twenty years is a long time and so many people get divorced, but I’m glad they haven’t – I’ve heard that divorce is really hard to deal with! 🙁

Well, I should get going and pack or something, but nah I’ll probably sit on the computer for a while longer before doing anything else. I’m too excited to get ready!!!

About an hour ago, I got back from a family vacation to Colorado. One of my mom’s brothers lives in (infamous) Littleton, CO and we went out there to visit them. My mom’s other brother, who lives in Tempe, AZ also went to Colorado so we kinda had a family reunion. Despite the long drive out there, we had a really great time. I’ve only been to Colorado once, but that was when I was a baby so…. The drive there and back wasn’t too bad – especially since I was able to drive. I drove half of the way there and about a third of the way back. While we were in Colorado, we did quite a few different things. We went hiking a few of the days – one of those days, we went to see St. Mary’s Glacier. The weather was really great and it was awesome hiking on snow-capped mountains wearing shorts and t-shirts. We also hiked to a forest fire lookout tower. There we could see all around Pike National Forest (I think that’s the name of it), and we could see Pike’s Peak. We had a lot of time to relax too. We played a lot of games, sat around outside and talked, went to a Colorado Rockies (baseball) game, etc. It was a really great vacation and I hope I can go back soon!

I don’t think I’m going to be posting much on here this summer – I’ve got a lot of plans. I’m going to be away from home for about three weeks this summer – in Florida, Colorado, and here in Illinois at SEMP. I’ve also got a lot of work to do – some web sites to make, CGI scripts to write, etc., and I’ll be putting a lot of my time into that stuff. So, don’t be suprised if you don’t see updates here very often.

Finally, school is all done. I’ve spent the day (after I got home from school) doing a little bit on the computer, relaxing, watching tv, doing a little stuff outside, etc. Well I just wanted to put something on here to let you all know how happy I am to be out of school :)!

Yeah that’s right – one more day of school! I had my math (adv. algebra w/ trig) and my accounting finals today. Both were really easy and I know I did well on them. On Monday, I’ve got my Spanish, English and Chemistry finals and then I’ll be all done! Finally! I’ll actually have free time! Summer’s almost here!!!!! Haha I’m getting a little carried away, but oh well. I need a break from school!

Finally the end of school is in sight! I did my spanish speaking final today and it went pretty well. Tomorrow I’ve got my spanish writing final. In all my other classes, all we’re probably doing is reviewing. Boy am I in for a fun day (not..hehe) tomorrow!

Well, I’ve got youth group tonight, which should be cool. We’re still talking about 1 Peter and Jeff Fairbanks is really doing a great job preaching the Word. I’m so glad I’ve found a good youth group to go to!

Well, that’s about it for now, I’m gonna go do some work on my business site, http://design.garagedoor.org. I’ve got a lot of plans for it this summer and I’m probably going to be doing some work for an internet services company this summer and I’m going to be gone for about three weeks out of the summer. Hopefully I’ll have time to do all this and the other things that come up.

3 more days of school! (2 if you don’t count each 1/2 day as a full day)

Well, the last week of school is finally here. All we’re doing in class is preparing for the finals, which is really boring, but at least it helps me remember everything we’ve learned.

The weather today was really nice – sunny, about 65F, etc!!!!! I just got back from a bike ride with my brother. It feels so good to get out in this nice cool air – normally it’s 90F by this time of year.

Well I should get going – I’ve got a spanish speakign test tomorrow and I haven’t studies for that at all.

4 More Days of School!

School is coming to an end so fast, but we’re getting so much work. I’ve got the written part of my math final tomorrow, I’ve got to write a paper this weekend for English, I have parts of my Spanish final next week. Can’t it all just be over? It’ll feel so good once school is out. I’ll finally be able to relax and then I get to do a whole bunch of fun stuff – vacation to Colorado, vacation to Florida (for FBLA), SEMP. This summer should be a good one – I just wish it would get here a bit faster.
