No Homework! (almost)

Finally, I have no homework. I did my speech today in English, took a test in math, etc., so I only had a really easy work sheet to do for spanish. It feels so good to be able to relax, but it’s not gonna last long. Tomorrow I have to write a paper about Winston Churchill, the man my speech was about. Once I get that done, I’ll put it here in the my documents portion of this site.

7 more days of school left :)!!!!!

Slowing down

School is kinda slowing down now as the end of the year approaches. I’ve got a few “big” things to do and then finals, but it’ll all be over soon enough. I hope I can stand the two or so weeks that are left!

School

I’m here at school, 3rd hour. I’m done with my accounting project, so I kinda get to do whatever I want. Also, Mr. Crickard, the teacher, likes me so he doesn’t care what I do, even though I should be working on an accounting report.

The weather this weekend here was awesome – 65F or so and sunny!!!

Hope all you mothers out there had a good mother’s day yesterday!

What a Week!

Wow this week has been the greatest (not!). I’ve had this speech to work on all week and it hasn’t been fun. I finally finished writing it a little while ago and, boy, does it feel good to get it done! I’ve got to write a paper also, and I’ll probably put that on here once I’m done.

Well, hopefully I’ll have a good day tomorrow..err..today (wow time flies-hehe). Maybe I’ll start posting a little more often, but I’ll be busy this week too. Oh well, I’ll just have to wait and find out.

Baseball!

Just got back from another baseball game (Kane County Cougars)! They played a lot better than yesterday. Yesterday, they lost 9-2, but today they won 5-1. They also had a lot fewer errors today. It was cool – I went with my youth group and that made it more fun than yesterday too. I almost got a foul ball and one of my friends got a warm-up bat of one of the visitor’s players.

Busy

Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve posted anything on here. I’ve been playing around with Linux a lot and have neglected to post anything here. This weekend has been quite busy also – today I went to a baseball game, yesterday we had a car wash at omega, Friday we had a short day and I went to my friend’s house. Sometimes I really wish I could just take a vacation from everything. I can’t wait until summer – a vacation to Colorado, one to Florida and then SEMP!

This week I’m going to be very busy writing a speech about Winston Churchill and how he should be man of the 20th century. Hopefully that will go well and I’ll get all the info I need! I’ll be especially busy since I’m going to another ball game tomorrow evening. Oh well, I’ll be less busy soon enough – just have to keep looking forward to summer!

Linux

Sorry I haven’t posted anything on here lately. The past couple of days, I haven’t felt like putting anything and yesterday, I formatted my hard drive so I could install Redhat Linux 7. It’s not all that bad and I think I’m acutally going to use it once in a while! Well, I’m gonna get back to playing around with this. (I’m using Linux right now!)

Easy Day at School; Youth Group

School was really easy today. All the juniors were taking some required standardized test all day and, since most of my classes have a lot of juniors in them, we didn’t do a whole lot at school today. The same goes for tomorrow. (I can’t wait until next year when I get to take those tests!) (For those of you who didn’t realize I was writing that sarcastically, now you know.)

Youth group was good tonight. I really like Sean McTighe’s youth group – this was my third time and each time I go, I like it even more. I think I’ll end up stop going to Omega and going to Sean’s youth group instead.

New Article

As promised, I added the paper I talked about in yesterday’s news. You can read it at
http://erichmusick.com/mydocuments.cgi?page=012.

Also, I mentioned this another time, but I’ve been reading a book called No Compromise: The Life Story of Keith Green. I read some more of it today and it’s so good I had to mention it again. If you click the title, it will send you to Amazon.com, where you can purchase the book and, in turn, help me out a little. (I am an affilate for Amazon.com, which means I get paid a little percentange for giving Amazon.com business.)

Easy Day

Today was an easy day since I had a field trip for Accounting class. We went to a local community college for an accounting contest. For the individual scores, I won 8th place and for the team scores (the top 5 scores from each school added together), my school won 4th place. Afterwards, we got to go to Dairy Queen, which was really cool.

After school today, the power went out for about half an hour because of all the wind.

For homework today (acutally, it was assigned Friday, but I didn’t have to do it until today because of the contest) I had to find a whole bunch of examples of various things in the book To Kill a Mockingbird. I wish my teacher hadn’t given the assignment after we had read the book, but before – it would have made it a lot easier. I’ve also got to finish up a paper I started last week. I doubt I’ll be able to put it on here tonight, but I will probably be able to put it on here tomorrow sometime. Check back then to see if I’ve added it.

Well, that’s all for now.
