I’ve got a busy week ahead of me. Sure, it’s already 9th hour on Tuesday, but not having school yestrerday makes this feel like the beginning of th week. For English, I’ve got to write a five page literary analysis on Ernest Gaines’ novel, A Lesson Before Dying. In addition to that *exciting* essay, I’ve got to write an inclass essay first hour on Thursday on the same book. Ahh… Then, tomorrow, I’ve got the American Government First Full Session (we have a simulation for American Government class) and I’m speaking against a bill to support government funding of stem cell research. My concern with the issue is primarily that it is no different from abortion – embryos are killed. If it were “adult stem cell” research, I’d have no problem. Just the fact that embryos – unborn human babies – die in the process concerns me greatly. Once I’ve completed the final draft for my speech, I’ll probably throw it on here.
Well I’ve got a few more minutes before I’ve got to go to Calculus. Have a great day!
