Thursday, I took the Calculus BC AP test. After doing the multiple choice, I was feeling great about the test – I answered all but three of the non-calculator questions and was confident in my choices for the rest of the problems. Then I got to the free response portion. Expecting it to be just as easy as the multiple choice, I was shocked when I struggled through each problem. I left a fair amount blank, but answered everything I could, with answers that may not have been perfectly correct, but that showed I knew something about the topic. All in all, I think I did well – hopefully the multiple choice will make up for my poor performace on the free response.
Yesterday was the deadline for work on my web site for the FBLA Web Site Development Team competitive event. I was up to about midnight working on it, putting the finalizing touches on the site. Since the state conference, where we won first place, we have not make many changes to the site – we put information about this year’s state conference and created a “Member Highlights” page, but that’s about it. I’m hoping that, despite the fact that we don’t utilize flash, we will do well in the competition. This will be my third and final year attending the FBLA National Leadership Conference and I’d like to come home with an award for a change. This weekend should be good – I slept ’til about 11 this morning, after going to bed at about 1:30am. I’ve only got a small amount of homework which shouldn’t take long at all. I’ve got to work on updating my resumé so I can find a job this summer, but that, too, is almost complete. Hopefully I can just enjoy the weather and relax a little this weekend.
Last Sunday, my neighbors tore down the fence that borders between our back yard and theirs and are currently working on putting up a new, wooden fence. The old fence was all rusted out and looked bad, so putting up a new fence seems like a good idea.
Well that’s about it for now…hopefully I can get on here a little more frequently to post!
